1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The gloss black and gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is among the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combinations available. It makes use of lidar to navigate, and create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels) and integrates with the free Eufy Clean app to let you set schedules and customize the behavior of the S1.
When I tested the S1, it was quick to locate our downstairs, which is home to Linoleum flooring in the kitchen/dining room and bathrooms, as well as medium-pile carpeting and a large area rug. It was able to drive right up to walls without crashing into them and even managed to cross raised room thresholds with no problem, although it sometimes had trouble navigating down the stairs in one step. The S1 did a good job cleaning hard floors. Its mop drove smoothly on its flat side and raised itself when it was near carpets or carpets.
The docking station of the S1 automatically emptys its dust bin and refills its water tank on board with clean, ozonated water before every mopping session. The dock provides a deep-cleaning solution for the water. The S1's water tank holds enough water for around 12 cleaning sessions before needing to be empty, but this will vary depending on how often you use the mop.
The S1 needs periodic maintenance, just like other 2-in-1 robots. To do this, you'll need to clean the dirty water tank regularly to prevent it from clogging. You will also need to clean your sensors and swivel wheel regularly to avoid them getting blocked by dirt or dust. However, overall, the S1 is simple to maintain, especially when compared to other combinations that require more care.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
This all-in-one robotic vacuum and mop combo from Ecovacs is a powerful option for your cleaning requirements. The Ecovacs robot vacuum has 8700Pa of suction and comes with many unique features, including full home mapping, voice control, and smart path-planning that eliminates obstructions and cleans furniture. Its mopping capability is impressive, with rotating mops that actually lift and scrub the floor rather than simply moving the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned and dried at the base station, as required.
This robot combination is simple to set up and use, with a simple interface that guides you through the procedure. It also comes with a hand vacuum that can be used to clean those hard-to reach areas that the robot can't reach. There are two water tanks that can be automatically emptied or filled. It also comes with a variety of useful settings for fine-tuning your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is an excellent vacuum cleaner. It has a powerful suction which can effortlessly remove dust and debris that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are pretty good, too, even though it is sometimes hung in the small area mats or rugs that I have in my home (which is something you can mitigate by defining a virtual boundary within the app). The mopping capabilities are quite excellent, too, with two spinning mop heads that actually lift and scrub the floors, as opposed to simply dragging the pad over it. The mops can be cleaned with hot water and dried in the basestation as required. The mops are also refilled from the top of the base station when needed.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop were released earlier in the year. But their new flagship model is packed with impressive features. It boasts fantastic cleaning results and hands-off maintenance which makes it a strong contender for our best mop and vacuum robots. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition, and an extended side brush guarantee an efficient, customized clean.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, picking up fine and large debris from both hard floors and carpets. It also cleaned our tests' most filthy areas well, and avoiding tangled pet hairs and other messes. best budget robot vacuum cleaner sweeping capabilities are augmented by a side brush that swings out to tackle hard-to-reach corners, and an extending mop pad that can be placed alongside baseboards.
Its navigation is smart it can navigate through tiny spaces and negotiating stairs without skipping a step. It is able to move from one room to the next without having to reverse direction. This is beneficial for homes that have multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is not as advanced than the ones of other competitors, and leaves a huge space over obstacles. This can lead to missing spots.
The app's interface is intuitive and easy to use. It should be easy to use for both novices and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and manage cleanings. You can also adjust the suction power, mop settings and view 2D and 3-D maps. It can be controlled via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can also remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. However, you will require a stable internet connection to use it via the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 pro
Robot vacuums are excellent at removing dirt and debris, but they aren't able to reach every bit of dust. This is why it's crucial to use your regular vacuum at least once every week, and especially to clean dust from corners, on shelves and in the corners of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robot designed specifically for this purpose. It's easy to connect it to your home Wi-Fi network, and is compatible with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more useful addition to your daily cleaning routine.
The Q5 is a stripped down version of the more expensive S-series models from the company, which includes the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It is equipped with a similar LIDAR mapping sensor, but it saves cost by removing the mopping functionality and by using a lower-cost plastic body.

The Q5 remains one of the most powerful mopping and vacuums we've ever seen at this price, even though it's not equipped to wipe your floor. It has a strong suction of 5500Pa and an automatic-empty system so you don't need to empty the bin manually every time. It also has a clever app that lets you select your floor's type and schedule cleanings, and an automatic water tank refill and wash system for hands-free operation.
Its mops also impress with their 2700Pa power to combat pet hair and dirt on carpets and hard flooring. The Q5 is among the few robots we test that didn't have problems with carpets with high piles or area carpets, but it didn't remove kitty litter or cable tangles that's not a surprise given that it doesn't have AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is one of the quietest robovacs we have tested. It also utilizes a unique system to map your home, which allows it to get into places that other vacuums are unable to reach. It also collects dust in a bigger dustbin which means you have to empty it less often. It also has washable filters, which reduces the cost. This robot can also detect carpets and boost the suction if needed. The app also allows you to mark areas that you want it to stay clear of, which is a nice feature.
